1.7. If any questions arise during the work related to its safe performance, you must immediately contact the employee responsible for the safe performance of work (foreman or shift supervisor).

When servicing pumping units, the following dangerous and harmful production factors occur: moving machines and mechanisms; moving parts of production equipment; sudden destruction of shut-off equipment and mains with the release of water; increased noise level; general vibration; possibility of electric shock when touching exposed live parts, dust.
1.13. The enterprise administration must provide pumping unit operators with personal protective equipment in accordance with current industry standards for the free issuance of special clothing, special shoes and other personal protective equipment.
1.14. A pumping unit operator without the special clothing, safety shoes and other personal protective equipment and safety devices required by production conditions is not allowed to perform work.
1.15. The operator of pumping units is obliged to:
— comply with fire safety requirements in production, as well as observe and maintain fire safety regulations;
— take precautions when working with flammable and combustible liquids, flammable gases and other fire and explosive substances, materials and equipment;
— know the location of the main and emergency exits and escape routes in the event of a fire or accident;
- be able to use primary fire extinguishing equipment.
1.16. It is prohibited to use primary fire extinguishing means, non-mechanized firefighting tools and equipment for household and other needs not related to firefighting.
1.17. Used cleaning materials should be collected in special metal boxes with lockable lids.
1.18. Boxes with used cleaning material must be cleaned as they are filled, but at least once per shift.
1.19. The operator of pumping units must have: technical familiarity with electrical installations; a clear understanding of the danger of electric current and approaching live parts; knowledge of basic precautions when working in electrical installations; practical skills in providing first aid to victims of electric current.
1.20. The operator of pumping units must report cases of injury and all malfunctions of mechanisms, equipment, violations of technological conditions, deterioration of working conditions, and emergency situations to the shift foreman (supervisor) and take preventive measures as appropriate, ensuring his own safety.
1.21. In the event of illness, poisoning or an accident, the operator of pumping units must stop working, notify the shift foreman (supervisor) and seek medical help.
1.22. In the event of an accident involving other workers, it is necessary to: provide first aid to the victim, observing personal safety measures; If possible, maintain the situation of the incident and report the incident to the shift foreman (supervisor).
1.23. During work, the operator of pumping units must observe the rules of personal hygiene: remove dust from work clothing; wash your hands with soap before eating; monitor the cleanliness of the workplace, overalls and personal protective equipment.
1.24. As the pumping unit operator's overalls become dirty or worn out, they must be dry-cleaned, washed, or repaired at the expense of the enterprise.

1.26. For failure to comply with the safety requirements set out in these instructions, depending on the nature of the violations and their consequences, the operator of pumping units bears disciplinary, financial or criminal liability in accordance with the current legislation of the Russian Federation.

2. OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS BEFORE STARTING WORK

2.1. Inspect, put in order and put on overalls. Fasten and tuck it in so that it does not have loose ends hanging down.

2.5. 3. OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS DURING WORK

3.1. During operation, the operator of pumping units must ensure safe and trouble-free operation of the equipment.
3.2. Before starting the pumping unit, make sure that there are no people near it, put on dielectric gloves, and stand on a dielectric mat or insulating stand.
3.3. Turn on the pumping unit by pressing the “Start” button on the control panel.
3.4. Check the water pressure according to the readings from the instrumentation.
3.5. During the shift:
— monitor the constant pressure in the discharge pipeline;
— monitor the serviceability of the cooling and lubrication systems of units, drainage systems;
— monitor deviations from the normal operating mode of the pumping unit (extraneous noise, vibration, overheating of bearings, etc.).
3.6. It is prohibited to enter the switchgear and switchboards, as well as open switchboards and control panels.
3.7. Minor repairs, equipment adjustments, and sealing of oil seals should be carried out only with the equipment turned off and the valve on the discharge pipeline closed.
3.8. Cleaning of water intake wells or water collectors is carried out after shutting off the general water inflow and pumping water from the well or water collector.
3.9. The work should be carried out by a team of three pumping unit operators, one of whom must perform the duties of a supervisor (insurer).

4. OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS IN EMERGENCIES

4.1. Having noticed a danger that threatens people or an enterprise (malfunction of equipment, machinery and mechanisms, railway tracks, electrical networks), stop work and, along with taking possible measures to eliminate it, inform the shift foreman (supervisor) or other official about it and act in accordance with it instructions.
4.2. In the event of an increased influx of water into the reservoir, start all backup pumps and inform the shift foreman (supervisor) or dispatcher about this.
4.3. If there is a fire in the pump room, take measures to extinguish the fire using available fire extinguishing equipment. Extinguish electrical equipment and cables with carbon dioxide fire extinguishers. Report the occurrence of a fire to the shift foreman (supervisor) or dispatcher. If necessary, call the fire brigade by calling 101 or 112.
4.4. If a cable or wire breaks, it is prohibited to approach a dangerous place at a distance closer than 8 m. Take measures to prevent other workers from entering the dangerous area, and report the incident to the manager or other official.

5. OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS AFTER WORK COMPLETION

5.2. Clean the working tools, collect the cleaning material and put them in a specially designated place.

1.4. A person with secondary vocational education and appropriate training is appointed to the position of pumping unit operator of the 4th category without presenting requirements for work experience.

1.5. In practical activities, the operator of 4th category pumping units must be guided by:

local acts and organizational and administrative documents of the Company;
internal labor regulations;
rules of labor protection and safety, ensuring industrial sanitation and fire protection;
instructions, orders, decisions and instructions from the immediate supervisor;
this job description.

1.6. A 4-grade pumping unit operator must know:

device and design features of centrifugal, piston pumps, vacuum pumps and pipe pumps of various systems;
design and location of outer chambers, pipelines, grids, wells and instrumentation;
electrical engineering, hydraulics and mechanics;
arrangement of serviced electric motors, direct and alternating current generators, transformers, switchgear equipment, electrical networks and electrical appliances;
rules for starting and stopping all pumping equipment;
methods for troubleshooting equipment and eliminating accidents;
rules and regulations of labor protection, safety precautions (when servicing electrical installations in the scope of qualification group III) and fire protection.

1.7. During the period of temporary absence of a 4th grade pumping unit driver, his duties are assigned to [deputy position title].

2. Job responsibilities

A 4th grade pumping unit operator performs the following labor functions:

2.1. Maintenance of pumping stations (substations, installations) equipped with pumps and pipe pumps of various systems with a total capacity of over 3000 to 10000 m 3 per hour of water, pulp and other non-viscous liquids.

2.2. Starting, regulating the operating mode and stopping motors and pumps. Maintenance of pumps and pumping units in the field and on construction sites with a pump capacity of over 1000 to 3000 m 3 per hour of water each and wellpoint and vacuum pump units with a pump capacity of over 600 m 3 per hour each.

2.3. Maintenance of pumps and pumping units in coal mines with a total pump capacity of over 18,000 m 3 per hour of methane-air mixture.

2.4. Monitoring the provision of a given pressure of liquid, gas and pulp in the network of the serviced area.

2.5. Maintenance of transformer substations under the guidance of a more highly qualified driver.

2.6. Identification and troubleshooting of pumping equipment, including electric motors and electrical circuits of process equipment.

2.7. Maintenance of power and lighting electrical installations over 1000 V.

2.8. Performing electrical work of medium complexity.

2.9. Load regulation of the electrical equipment of the site (substation).

2.10. Preparation of defect reports for repairs.

In case of official necessity, a fourth-grade pumping unit operator may be involved in performing his job duties overtime, in the manner prescribed by law.

3. Rights

A 4th grade pumping unit operator has the right to:

3.1. Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the enterprise management concerning its activities.

3.2. Submit proposals for improvement of work related to the duties provided for in this job description for management’s consideration.

3.4. Request personally or on behalf of the immediate supervisor from heads of departments of the enterprise and specialists information and documents necessary to perform their job duties.

3.6. Require the management of the enterprise to provide assistance in the performance of their official duties and rights.

4. Responsibility and performance evaluation

4.1. The driver of pumping units of the 4th category bears administrative, disciplinary and material (and in some cases provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation, criminal) responsibility for:

4.1.1. Failure to carry out or improperly carry out official instructions from the immediate supervisor.

4.1.2. Failure to perform or improper performance of one's job functions and assigned tasks.

4.1.3. Illegal use of granted official powers, as well as their use for personal purposes.

4.1.4. Inaccurate information about the status of the work assigned to him.

4.1.5. Failure to take measures to suppress identified violations of safety regulations, fire safety and other rules that pose a threat to the activities of the enterprise and its employees.

4.1.6. Failure to ensure compliance with labor discipline.

4.2. The assessment of the work of a driver of 4-grade pumping units is carried out:

4.2.1. By the immediate supervisor - regularly, in the course of the employee’s daily performance of his work functions.

4.2.2. The certification commission of the enterprise - periodically, but at least once every two years, based on documented results of work for the evaluation period.

4.3. The main criterion for assessing the work of a driver of 4-grade pumping units is the quality, completeness and timeliness of his performance of the tasks provided for in these instructions.

5. Working conditions

5.1. The work schedule of a 4th grade pumping unit driver is determined in accordance with the internal labor regulations established by the Company.

5.2. Due to production needs, a 4th grade pumping unit operator is required to go on business trips (including local ones).

1. General safety requirements

1.1. Personnel who have passed a medical examination, safety instructions, training under the “Pump Station Operator” program and have qualification group I in electrical safety, as well as those who have passed:

On-the-job training;

Fire safety briefing;

Electrical safety instructions.

1.2. Testing the operator's knowledge of the rules for safe maintenance of centrifugal pumps should be carried out annually by enterprise commissions.

1.3. The driver must know:

Purpose and design and principle of operation of pumping units;

Effect of hazardous and harmful production factors on workers;

Industrial sanitation requirements;

Location of first aid kits.

1.4. The driver must:

Perform only the work included in his duties;

Monitor compliance with safety requirements during operation of pumping units;

Undergo periodic medical control in accordance with Order No. 90 of March 14. 1996

1.5. The driver must use the following personal protective equipment in his work:

Cotton suit;

Combined mittens;

Leather boots.

1.6. The pump operator must perform only the work assigned by the work manager.

1.7. The driver’s workplace and passages must be systematically cleared of debris, and in winter from snow and ice, sprinkled with sand or ash, the workplace must be well lit.

1.8. The coupling halves connecting the pump to the electric motor must be protected by a casing.

1.9. The housing of the electric motor, switch, and starting device must be grounded.

1.10. The driver must comply with:

Internal labor regulations, especially regarding the prohibition of being intoxicated at the workplace;

Fire safety rules;

Be able to provide assistance to victims of accidents.

1.11. The worker must know that if the requirements of the instructions are violated, he is liable in accordance with current legislation.

2.Safety requirements before starting work

2.1. The driver taking over the shift must check:

¨ serviceability of suction and discharge pipelines;

¨ instrument readings, their serviceability;

¨ temperature of bearings, presence of lubricant, sufficiency of tightening of gland seals;

¨ no vibration of the pump and motor;

¨ serviceability of the starting device;

¨ presence and serviceability of grounding of electric motors.

2.2. Before starting the pump, it is necessary to remove foreign objects from it; after making sure that the pump is in good working order, the driver starts starting the pump. Next, turn on the vacuum pump, and when the vacuum gauge shows 0.5 kg/cm 2, turn on the main pump. After making sure that the main centrifugal pump is operating normally, stop the vacuum pump.

3.Safety requirements during operation

3.1. The driver must ensure:

a) for the correct and normal operation of the pumps;

b) monitor the readings of instrumentation and control equipment;

c) when operating a pump with an electric motor, in order to avoid electric shock, the operator is prohibited from touching live parts, even insulated ones;

d) systematically check the heating of parts of the pump and electric motor;

e) check the presence of oil every 6 months.

4.Safety requirements in emergency situations

4.1. The pump must be stopped in the following cases:

if you hear shocks, impacts, or grinding sounds in the pump or electric motor;
if there is a burning smell and high temperature of the bearings (more than 75°C);
with abnormal shaking and vibration;
when the grounding is broken.

4.2. If you are injured, call an ambulance and notify your supervisor.

5.Safety requirements upon completion of work

5.1. The pump operator is obliged to:

Turns off the power to the pump; the knocking sound of the closing check valve indicates that the pump has stopped correctly; the absence of a knocking sound from the closing check valve and spontaneous rotation of the pump shaft in the opposite direction after it is turned off indicates a stuck check valve. If after repeated switching on of the pump and tapping on the valve body. If the valve does not close, close the valve on the discharge pipe of the switched off pump. After closing the valve, spontaneous rotation of the pump should stop;

Check all parts of the pump;

When working in shifts, pass the shift according to the log and inform the shift worker about production comments and malfunctions;
