Lesson topic

Ecological trail in kindergarten.

Lesson plan

2. Creation of an ecological path on the territory of the kindergarten and in natural conditions.

3. Organization of work with children on the ecological path.

1. The value of the ecological path in kindergarten.

LEARNING TRAIL - a specially equipped and carefully studied route in places where the surrounding wildlife allows guides to transfer knowledge about natural phenomena and objects, create prerequisites for the education of ecological and environmental thinking.

ECOLOGICAL TRAIL - a route passing through various natural objects that have an aesthetic

environmental and historical value, on which sightseers (students, tourists, etc.) receive oral and written information (full houses, stands, signs, etc.) about these objects. For convenience, the trails can be equipped with decks, bridges, signs, etc. Creation of e. trails (educational trails of nature) is aimed at solving problems: environmental education and upbringing, recreation for visitors, nature protection in the adjacent zone. Often, E. t. is laid on the territory of the nat. parks, reserves.

Types of ecological paths:

  • on the territory of a preschool institution;
  • in natural or close to them conditions (suburban forest, park, square)

Working on the ecological trail contributes to:

  • the cognitive development of the child (conditions have been created for cognitive activity, experimentation with natural material, systematic observations of objects of animate and inanimate nature, etc.);
  • ecological and aesthetic development (drawing attention to the surrounding natural objects, the formation of the ability to see the beauty of the natural world, etc.);
  • health improvement of the child (competent design, landscaping of the territory, creation of conditions for excursions, outdoor activities);
  • the formation of the moral qualities of the child (creation of conditions for regular care of living objects and communication with them, fostering a sense of responsibility, desire and ability to preserve the natural world around);
  • the formation of environmentally literate behavior (skills for rational use of natural resources, care for animals, plants, environmentally literate behavior in nature);
  • ecologization of various activities of the child (conditions for independent games with natural material, etc.)

2. Stages of creating and designing a path

  • Detailed survey of the territory and selection of the most interesting objects;
  • Drawing up a map of the path with drawing the route and all its objects (in the form of circles or drawings-symbols);
  • The choice, together with the children, of the "owner" of the path - a fairy-tale character who will give tasks to the children and invite them to visit;
  • Photographing objects and a description of all points according to the scheme, designed in the form of an album (passport);
  • Production of plates with drawings, signatures for specific points;
  • Drawing up recommendations on the use of path objects for working with children

Objects of the ecological trail on the territory of the kindergarten

  • All that is already available on the territory of the kindergarten:

trees, herbs, shrubs, an anthill, a flower garden, a garden, a kitchen garden, a plot with medicinal plants, a plot with meadow plants listed in the Red Book, an outbuilding with pets, etc.

Arrangement of flower beds

flower beds- there are compositional solutions for combining flower plants with each other. In one combination - they can be a bright accent in an open sunny area, with another selection of plants - they become a gentle addition in the shade of sprawling trees and shrubs.

Flower beds can be made up of annual flowering plants (annual plants) and herbaceous perennials (perennials). Both of them have a number of advantages and disadvantages.

Annuals, having bright, saturated colors and a rather long flowering time (from June to October), they need to be replaced annually, because their entire life cycle is designed for one growing season.

perennials, on the contrary, they grow in one place for several years, they tolerate the winter period perfectly, but they will never give such a dense brightness, and the flowering period of each species is from 3 days to 2-4 weeks.

* An important place in the system of accumulation of personal experience by each child, environmentally correct interaction with the nature of the immediate environment, safe both for the child and for nature itself, in accordance with their interests, inclinations, level of cognitive development, is given to the creation of an ecological path on the territory of the kindergarten and organization of work with children. * As objects of the ecological path there can be: various types of trees, including rare ones (alleys, separately growing rare species, a garden, a corner of a forest; shrubs; flower beds of various shapes and selection of plants; rock gardens; small reservoirs (artificial or natural ); a corner of a meadow; a corner of untouched nature; anthills; animal minks; bird nests; weather station; garden bed with medicinal plants; vegetable garden, individual flowering plants, etc.

An ecological trail is one of the modern forms of upbringing and education of children - it is work in an ecologically significant space, on an educational route passing through various natural objects. Getting acquainted with plants and animals, their habitats, features of natural landscapes, etc., children and adults expand their horizons and practice orienteering.

*Taking into account the peculiarities of age, as well as the specifics of the developing environment, when organizing work on the ecological trail, you can use a variety of forms: excursions, experience classes, observation classes, ecological games, competitions, quizzes, holidays. *The ecological path is a means of moral, aesthetic and labor education.

* The world surrounding the child is, first of all, the world of nature with an unlimited wealth of phenomena, with inexhaustible beauty. To teach children to see the beauty of their native nature, to cultivate interest and respect for it is one of the main tasks of educators and parents. To protect and love native nature, you need to know it. Ignorance of nature often causes indifference, and sometimes cruelty towards all living things. Love for nature, a conscious, careful and interested attitude towards it, we bring up every person from early childhood in the family and in kindergarten

In our kindergarten, teachers have developed and created a unique ecological trail. Before she appeared, the educators carried out a lot of preliminary work. We carefully studied literary sources, communicated with teachers from other institutions, consulted with the parents of pupils.

Where did we start. Stages of creating and designing a path: 1. We examined the territory of the kindergarten in detail and identified the most interesting objects. 2. Compiled maps of the path with the drawing of the route and all its objects, the scheme is on the stand, which is located at the beginning of the ecological path. 3. Together with the children, we chose the mistress of the trail (any fairy-tale character at the request of the children) 4. Compiled passports for all viewpoints of the trail. 5. We made remote signs that designate each point. 6. Made recommendations for working with children at each view point.

How do we use the ecological trail. - We use it during walks, for children to communicate with the nature of the immediate environment and for children to improve their health in the fresh air. - We use it during observations of wildlife, to develop the sensory qualities of each child. - We introduce different objects of wildlife and show its relationship with the outside world. – We try to make the communication of the child with nature safe for the child and nature itself. – We form feelings of closeness to nature and empathize with all living things, we teach care and respect for nature. – We form the ability to convey our impressions of communication with nature in drawings, crafts, stories and other creative works.

Our Flora doll is the mistress of the ecological path. Flora offers to go to a certain view point. - makes riddles to find out: what exactly we will observe; - asks questions related to the object of observation; - introduces children to these objects; - offers according to the scheme - the plan to find an object to which he invites children; - conducts games such as: “Know the flower”, “Say a word”, “Generalizing words”, “What is superfluous?”, “When does it happen?” etc. - writes letters to children in which he offers to answer questions - assignments, dream up on various topics. - introduces children to poems and proverbs about nature (animals, plants, natural phenomena, seasons) and helps them memorize them. - in direct educational activities it is used as a surprise moment, helping the teacher to set up children for productive work.

Children in our kindergarten are happy to spend time on the ecological path with the fairy Flora. They are attracted by the appearance of the ecological trail, reminiscent of fairy-tale magic near each view point. Also the content, means and methods of work for the implementation of the educational process. We have developed a series of classes on the "Ecological trail", a plan-model of the ecological week, excursions-observations, excursions-walks, ecological tournaments, KVNs, matinees, passports of viewpoints of the ecological trail, file cabinets of experiments and experiments

This year, our ecological trail was replenished with insects, animals and birds listed in the red book of the Utrish State Reserve. “The Utrish State Reserve is a unique relic juniper-pistachio forest on the Black Sea coast of the Krasnodar Territory. It has the status of a regional reserve. Poaching, logging, attempts to illegally seize forest lands, illegal construction have become almost the norm here. Caring people of all our country of different professions, beliefs, ages, united by love for Utrish and the desire to help him, stood up for him. Employees of our kindergarten, children, parents, we all want to take part in the protection and protection of the "house" in which we live! Our kindergarten is actively working in this direction. The main objectives of our work are: 1) expanding children's ideas about the nature of Utrish; 2) deepening knowledge about plants and animals of Utrish; 3) instilling in children love and respect for their native nature; 4) development of skills to recognize representatives of the living world by their description, habits, habitat, seasonal changes, lifestyle; 5) the formation of a nature-oriented picture of the world in children.

Our employees put in a lot of effort to solve the tasks. We carefully studied literary sources, went on an excursion to the Utrish State Reserve. We talked with local experts, learned the history of the nature reserve, its purpose, value and uniqueness. Also, productive work is being carried out to familiarize with the unusual flora and fauna, instilling love and respect for the native nature among our pupils. Last year, the children of the preparatory group and teachers made a model of the Utrish conservation area, which participated in the competition and won the 3rd place.

This year, kindergarten teachers, pupils, and parents made a didactic rug for the Utrish protected area. Which depicts the flora and fauna listed in the Red Book of the Utrish Reserve. We hope that this year we will be among the leaders. And now let's go through the viewpoints of the ecological trail.

Our kindergarten is located in a picturesque place. Around, on a large territory, many different trees and shrubs grow, flowers, lilac bushes, mountain ash, acacias beautifully bloom in summer. All plants are accessible. In this regard, the idea of creating an "ecological path" in our kindergarten arose.
