Made a purchase before the new year. I was only worried about the delivery time so that everyone could bring it as soon as possible. I did not have a refrigerator, I needed to get it as soon as possible. They brought it within 2 days. These terms were announced to the employee at the time of packing. In principle, they were able to meet, which is the most important thing. The quality is very good. The refrigerator still works. With their punctuality, the staff helped me out a lot. Thank you very much! Paid for the fridge in cash when I checked it out appearance, equipment and novelty.

Price for selected washing machine Samsung WW80R42LHES turned out to be one of the lowest on the market. The presence of the goods was immediately confirmed by the manager, the order was placed almost at 21:00 on Saturday, and the next day the machine was brought. And no 2-3-4 days of waiting for the processing and delivery of the order, as in most online stores. It is possible to pay by card, low shipping cost - 500 rubles.
Delivery was carried out even a little earlier than the agreed time, a polite courier, the rate is only 100 rubles for lifting the car to the apartment (the rate is if there is an elevator), they took the old one for free, which is obviously an additional plus to the order.

Last week I ordered built-in home appliances here. Fully equipped kitchen from start to finish. The purchase cost me almost 100,000 rubles, so I decided to pay by card. I paid for the order in full, before and after that the call-center operator communicated with me, as soon as the money arrived, he told me that the money was received, everything is fine, I can wait for delivery the next day. They brought it, everything was handed over for verification, for reporting. It took a long time to deal with the papers, because there were a lot of them. But in the end everything was checked.

Compliance with price and quality, always in touch, discounts for regular customers. This is not the first time I order a product on this site, I have always been satisfied with the result. Great prices are supported by a large assortment of goods - everyone will find here what he needs. There are also a lot of discounted goods, which, for me personally, is a big plus. Delivery is always fast. I have already recommended this store to many friends and will recommend again!

I ordered a thermopot through an online store, it is very convenient, without unnecessary telephone conversations and fittings. I read about the characteristics of the goods in advance, I was only worried about the possibility of a failed transaction after an advance payment (as a common variant of fraud) and irresponsible transportation to my city. The thing is pretty fragile. And worry for nothing! After placing an order on the site, I will receive an email. I received an invoice for payment in the mail, the manager called back to clarify the delivery address. I also made payment through the site, it’s convenient, and it seems reliable, like on ali-express. She expressed her fears described above both in a call back to the store and by correspondence in contact in the HouseBT group. Courteous and calm store managers patiently withstood everything)) I received the goods in the declared, fairly quick terms in the shopping mall. In a box with a large inscription like FRAGILE LOAD, my brand new, whole and perfectly working thermal pot arrived! I definitely recommend the store. I panicked in vain, I just had a bad experience in online shopping earlier ..

An excellent store and competitive prices, a large selection, good quality, convenient purchase, a large assortment, constant control of the order and informing by SMS on the phone. There is a guarantee.

Sleek mobile solution
for small spaces

We have already tested Steba's automatic oven. In the review at the link you can find information about the manufacturer, description and tests of a "full-length" oven of the same brand. This device differs little from Steba G 80/31 in design, user interface and principle of operation. But the functionality of our test subject, of course, is cut down compared to a large oven - this is the price of the compactness and mobility of the device.

The Steba KB 23 Eco oven is essentially a mini-oven with two heating elements (upper and lower), convection and a mechanism that rotates the complete skewer. The device, as is customary with Steba technology, is made in a strict design, the case is made of stainless steel.

Equipment

The inscriptions on the box are made in a language that does not look like English, and something told us that it was German. Russian inscriptions are present only on a small white sticker.

Opening the box, inside we find:

  • actual oven;
  • grill grate;
  • spit;
  • frying pan;
  • crumb tray;
  • a handle for removing a hot pan;
  • instructions in Russian and German.

Instruction

Instructions for Steba KB 23 Eco are included in two versions: a thin brochure in Russian and a thicker book in several European languages. There are 12 pages in the Russian-language manual, their content is very laconic and raises almost no questions. The adverb "almost" refers primarily to the recipe table, which is not suitable for an inexperienced user for all occasions. Also, the test group had a question for the management about the meaning of the “Min” position on the thermostat knob: information about decoding this position in degrees Celsius and how to use this temperature regime We have not found.

The last five pages of the manual contain recipes, there are not many of them, their main usefulness is to get an idea of the capabilities of the device. The recipes do not indicate cooking modes and times, for this information you need to refer to the table.

There are some very original, at least from our point of view, texts.

Control

The model is controlled by three rotary knobs that regulate (from top to bottom) the temperature, mode and cooking time. The inner chamber has three levels for installing a frying pan (tray) and a grate. The spit is inserted into the grooves located at the height of the third level.

The knobs on the panel are set in a logical way: temperature selection, then mode selection, after that - the start of the timer, activating the previous set characteristics. An indicator light on the instrument panel indicates that the appliance has started working. After the set time has elapsed, a bell will sound and the light will turn off.

Temp. knob

What is logical - sets the temperature. Since nothing else is said, we assumed that this temperature is the same for all elements that will heat up depending on the selected mode of operation.

Prog. knob

Responsible for choosing one of the 5 oven operating modes:

  • top and bottom heating elements + convection;
  • upper a heating element+ convection + spit;
  • upper and lower heating elements;
  • upper heating element + spit;
  • bottom heating element.

Time knob

The timer (bottom rotary knob) allows you to set the cooking time up to 90 minutes. The user can at any time change the duration of the mode, as well as the mode itself and the heating temperature. The manual requires to turn on the timer, first scroll the knob to the maximum (90 minutes), and then set the desired time. The need for this action is explained by the fact that the timer works mechanically, it must be wound, like any mechanical watch.

All of this is supposed to apply:

  • Oven mode: Top + bottom heating element or top heating element + convection + spit settings are used depending on the choice of food. In the case when you need a crispy crust, you can set the “lower heating element” setting at the end of cooking.
  • Grill mode: Top Heater + Rotisserie or Top Heater + Convection + Rotisserie settings are used. The instruction prescribes in this mode to set the temperature to 230 °C. After half the time selected by the user, it is necessary to turn the products on the wire rack. The grease pan in the case of grilling is set 1 level below the grate.
  • Defrost and keep warm: Top + bottom heater + convection setting is used at 100 °C. Products are placed in a pan or on a wire rack.
  • Rotisserie Grill: Uses the same settings as Grill mode. The recommended cooking temperature is 230 °C and the pan must be placed on level 1.
  • Convection: Two settings that include convection (“top + bottom heating element + convection” and “top heating element + convection + spit”). They are used for baking, defrosting and bringing the dish to readiness.

Exploitation

The appliance must be installed on a flat, heat-resistant surface, at least 70 cm away from flammable materials (e.g. curtains). The oven is installed with the rear panel directly against the wall. Before first use, all parts of the appliance, with the exception of the heating elements, must be thoroughly cleaned and dried. After that, turn on the heating for 15 minutes. At this time, the oven will smoke a little - this is normal, this nuance is mentioned in the manual.

Care

The rack, frying pan, drip tray and skewer can be washed under running water or in dishwasher. The inside of the oven (after it has cooled down) can be cleaned with damp cloths or a soapy sponge, followed by wiping with a dry cloth or paper towel. The outside of the appliance can also be cleaned with wet wipes, a sponge or cloth. The manual prohibits the use of abrasive and acid-containing products, scrapers and metal sponges when caring for the stove.

All removable parts are well washed under running water. Cleaning the inner chamber from fat drops is not the most pleasant moment in the process of caring for the device, but not too long. The small dimensions of the oven, on the one hand, make it difficult to clean the internal parts of the appliance, but on the other hand, they allow you to install the model at a user-friendly level so that you do not have to wash the oven while bending over or kneeling. In addition, when the oven is at eye level and well lit, all areas inside the appliance that need cleaning are clearly visible.

Testing

You can install special branded skewers for barbecue in the oven, but these tools are not included in the kit. Moreover, it is still impossible to buy this accessory within the Russian market. Therefore, we regretfully leafed through all the kebab recipes and decided to test the skewer first.

  1. Chicken on a spit
  2. Meat on the grill
  3. Pie without filling

Chicken on a spit

We chose the smallest chicken from a regular store broiler (1.4 kg), rubbed inside and out with salt and spices, and tightly tied the wings and legs to the carcass so that the chicken parts did not touch the top heating element or the pan to collect fat. Then they strung the bird on a skewer, placing it strictly in the middle, as required by the manual. “Right in the middle” in our case was some convention, because the chicken occupied almost the entire spit. Having fixed the carcass on the spit with the help of complete forks, we installed the spit in the oven and fixed it in the manner indicated in the instructions. The manual suggests that we will set the grease pan to level 1, but in our case this was not possible. Even with its legs tied, the bird touched the pan during rotation. I had to put the grease trap directly on the lower heating element.

We set on the control panel the values that are indicated in the recipe table (“top heating element + spit”, 230 ° C, 60 minutes) and began to monitor the cooking progress. The process was not smooth: after a few minutes of uneven rotation (which puzzled us), the skewer fell out of the right slot. We reinstalled the spit, it either spun or got stuck, and after 5 minutes it fell out of the same right groove again. After the third attempt with the same result, we decided to stop raping the twisting mechanism and the bird, put the broiler on a frying pan (tray), set it to the 1st level and baked. We kept the cooking settings the same: “top heating element + spit”, 230 °C, 60 minutes. During this time, the chicken was perfectly baked and acquired a crispy crust, when pierced, clear juice poured from the carcass.

The verdict of the tasters : for a broiler, this is the best and most pleasant fate - to be baked with spices in the oven. In this form, ordinary store-bought chicken is good even for gourmets and snobs. This broiler served people twice: we used the breast of a roasted bird to make a salad (an improvisation on the theme of "Caesar"). Both tasting experiences allow the dish to be highly rated.

“This experience was indicative,” the test group concluded. “The recipes say a 1kg chicken, we have a mini-oven, and we need a mini-poultry.” Having thus renounced the choice in favor of a popular, easily accessible product, we went to a farmer's shop and chose a chicken weighing almost 1 kg. With this bird, we did exactly the same thing that was described at the beginning of the experiment with a broiler. Having installed the spit and turned on the stove, we watched the rotation of the chicken for 10 minutes. Now everything was going well: the skewer turned the carcass, the grease trap was placed on the first level, the legs and wings did not touch any parts of the inner chamber.

After 10 minutes the rotation stopped and the skewer fell out of the right slot. And again in 5 minutes. And again after 3 minutes. The process of installing a spit in a heated oven is a dangerous and unpleasant occupation, do not try to repeat it at home: the device is small, the walls and heating elements are close to your hands, there is hot air inside the chamber. The second bird suffered the same fate as its predecessor - it was cooked on a baking sheet.

The verdict of the tasters : farm chicken is much tastier than broiler chicken. This is the main conclusion from the repeated experiment with chicken.

It seemed to us that for uniform operation without excesses, the rotating mechanism lacks the length of the skewer. Under the weight of the strung carcass, the skewer gradually begins to move and leaves the groove; at the same time, the model does not have any elements of the mechanism that rigidly fix the rotating part.

Meat on the grill

Having failed with the spit, we moved on to testing the grill. Taking a piece of beef weighing 1 kg, we stuffed the meat with garlic and carrots, sprinkled with salt and spices. The piece that we got was flat and wide, so we rolled it into a roll, putting a handful of dried cherry plum inside. The grate with the threaded roll was set to the second level, the “upper heating element + spit” mode was set, the temperature was 230 ° C, the timer was started for 30 minutes - half the time of readiness. All cooking parameters were taken from the recipe table, the line "Meat on a skewer". Grill and spit cooking have the same mode and temperature settings, the difference is only in the tool used for cooking. Severe to superfluous entities, the Steba mini-oven does not provide for a separate setting of the “upper heating element” - after all, combining its work with the work of the rotating mechanism does not prevent the user from baking food on the grill.

Returning to our roll: half an hour later, at the call of the timer, we turned the meat over and set the timer for another 30 minutes. After the specified period, the roll was taken out of the oven, the threads were removed and cut into slices. The meat was fried, while it was juicy and tasty. The idea with cherry plum turned out to be good: in combination with garlic and herbs, sweet and sour cherry plum perfectly complements the taste of meat. Advice to those wishing to repeat our experience: it is better to dip the beef into the marinade a few hours in advance (unless, of course, you take a tenderloin for a grilled roll). In our case, the meat turned out to be very tasty, but still a little tough.

The verdict of the tasters : we put "excellent" in the operation of the device and "4+" in our culinary experience.

Thus, we tested the preparation of chicken and beef in the Steba KB 23 Eco. We are moving from meat to vegetables. It sounds like something healthy and dietary, but it really isn't.

Potato slices baked in sauce

The recipe for this cooking method baked potatoes we took from one of the many sites with recipes in the Runet space. Potatoes, 1 kg, should be washed and rubbed with a wire brush (our product was not very young, so we just peeled it), then cut into 8 wedges (we had small sized fruits, we cut them into 6 parts). Next, we were offered to make a sauce from half a glass olive oil, half a glass of parmesan, garlic, spices and herbs. In our case, the potatoes were 1.5 kilograms, so we proportionally increased the amount of ingredients for the sauce.

We put the potato wedges in a saucepan, poured the sauce there, closed the lid and shook the saucepan until the sauce was evenly distributed. Then they put the product on a baking sheet (it turned out two floors of slices), set it to the second level, set the “upper + lower heating element” mode setting, the thermostat to 220 ° C and set the cooking duration to 25 minutes. When the timer rang, they checked the readiness of the dish: the potato wedges were baked and were soft, but the crispy crust had not yet appeared. We set the timer for another 10 minutes; after this period, the dish was completely ready.

The verdict of the tasters : excellent recipe and excellent work of the device. Even the two-story architecture of the product on the baking sheet did not prevent the oven from baking well and gilding all the slices.

Having tested the anti-diet method of cooking vegetables in the oven, we move on to dessert. In the list of recipes on the last page of the manual, we found "Pie without toppings." Our test group became interested in this economical approach to sweet baking and replicated this dish.

Pie without filling

We mixed 200g sugar, 200g butter and 1 sachet of vanilla sugar as directed in the recipe. Then 4 eggs were added one by one, mixed, sifted flour (200 g), a pinch of salt and a bag of baking powder were added. Mixed everything together and poured the dough into a rectangular shape, oiled and sprinkled with flour. The form was placed on the grill at level 1 and the setting was “top + bottom heating element + convection”, the temperature was 180 ° C and the cooking time was 40 minutes. We took all the parameters from the recipe table, the line "Cupcake".

Forty minutes for the complete baking of the cake was enough. From above, sweet pastries were covered with a golden crust, inside they were lush and tender.

The verdict of the tasters : this is a very tasty and simple cupcake with a strange name. Advice to those who wish to repeat our cooking experience: you can still experiment with the filler. This cake would go with candied fruits, crushed nuts or some sour cherries.

conclusions

The Steba KB 23 Eco mini-oven has an excellent combination of advantages: compactness and high quality of work. This model is not inferior to any stationary electric furnace in terms of capabilities, with the exception, of course, of the capacity parameter. Steba KB 23 Eco looks good, the device has a steel case and supposedly high build quality. This model costs much less than a large electric furnace, fits in a small space, you can take it with you to the country.

The device, of course, also has disadvantages. We have already mentioned the small capacity: if you have a large family or like to cook a large dish for several days at once, a mini oven is hardly suitable for you. The operation of the spit in the Steba KB 23 Eco also seemed very unsatisfactory to us. True, the average home oven there is no twisting mechanism at all. But if the function is declared, I would like it to work for the benefit of the person.

Another drawback is the lack of skewers, not only in the kit, but also as an additional accessory on the Russian market. How significant the ability to make barbecue in a small electric oven is for the user is an individual question.

pros

  • Compactness and mobility
  • Simple control
  • Low, in comparison with electric furnaces of standard dimensions, price

Minuses

  • Small capacity of the inner chamber
  • Unsatisfactory (in our experience) skewer performance
  • Inability to purchase skewers for this model on the Russian market
