The slide projector Etude-2s was produced at the Volchansky aggregate plant in the Kharkov region in Ukraine. As standard, it is intended only for displaying transparencies. The slide projector Etude-2C is very compact. It is much smaller than conventional filmoscopes. It is also smaller than its classmates - overhead projectors such as Screen, Light, Satellite. The overhead projector uses high-quality coated optics and a triplet lens. A K220-100 film projection lamp was used as a light source. This configuration provides a bright and high-quality image. A heat filter protects the transparencies from overheating. Settings overhead projector Etude-2S minimum. The lamp is not adjustable. But it's not scary. When replaced, it becomes in the position in which it should be. The only exceptions are defective lamps, the spiral alignment of which does not coincide with GOST. But such. The slide projector was exported. This is evidenced by the Latin name Etude-2c on the front panel and made in USSR on the back (photo 7). Etude-2s in Soviet times cost 28 rubles, which was a little more expensive than similar overhead projectors , Satellite , Screen . At the same time, cheaper classmates already had a set of all the necessary frames for viewing transparencies, filmstrips and film. Etude-2s included only a two-position frame for viewing slides. Despite the very good quality manufacturing, the slide projector device is simple. First of all, thanks to well-thought-out body castings that do not require additional fasteners (photo 8). If necessary, complete disassembly / assembly can be done very quickly. In the condenser, the lens that is closer to the lamp is first fixed, and then all the others. Their correct location can be seen in photo 9. Lenses are installed not from above, as in similar models, but from below. The lamp holder is screwed on from below. Replacing the lamp itself overhead projector Etude-2C it is also easy to make and will not cause problems. When replacing a light bulb, it is advisable to install cotton gloves or, at a minimum, wash your hands with soap so as not to leave grease from your fingers. But in any case, when changing the lamp or repairing, for the first couple of minutes after turning on the slide projector, there may be a little smoke and bad smell. This is absolutely normal, because. when heated, the fat left by the hands begins to evaporate (no matter how clean they are).
Due to the high power, the slide projector gets quite hot, so I do not recommend using it for children without adult supervision. This is fraught with not only burns, but also a possible fire if paper or other flammable objects are placed on the slide projector.
