Gas, flow, heat-conducting boilers Mora, operating on natural gas(or propane) are designed to heat rooms with heat losses up to 10, 18, 23, 32 or 35 kW, and combined boilers are also designed to heat domestic water.

These boilers are wall-mounted. The removal of combustion products for some types of units is carried out outside through the chimney, for some - through the wall using a fan.

When installing the boiler, for its further safe and economical operation, it is necessary to have a professionally completed project for the whole heating system.

The Mora gas boiler can only be installed by an authorized service organization.

Only the type of gas that is indicated on the type plate of the product can be used for the operation of the unit.

The installed and mounted unit must not be moved to a new location.

The Mora boiler must be installed in such a way that the socket for its electrical connection is located in an accessible place. A phase wire must be connected to the left sleeve, a neutral wire to the right sleeve, and the upper pin to ground.

Failure to comply with this condition will cause the burner flame to go out after ignition.

The emergency thermostat, backflow fuse, fan and pressure switch are powered by 230 V. If it is necessary to interfere with the operation of these elements, it is imperative to remove the plug from the mains socket.

The gas boiler is installed in accordance with the projects for the heating system and for the gas supply of a residential building, utility facilities, industrial buildings, etc.

If the heating system meets all the requirements for operation, safety and functionality, then the commissioning of the boiler can be carried out after submitting the following documents to the relevant gas supply organization: a project for the gas supply of the facility, an act on the readiness of the gas supply system, acts on the suitability of smoke and ventilation ducts.

Installing a Mora gas boiler on a wall

The device is designed for mounting on a wall made of non-combustible material.

The installation of the Mora 5118 boiler can only be carried out by an authorized service organization that has a permit (license) to carry out these works.

The boiler can be installed in bathrooms, washbasins and showers, but we recommend installing it above the bath at a distance of approximately 200 mm from the walls of the bath. The boiler must not be installed outdoors.

To follow the rules fire safety it is necessary to maintain a safe distance between the appliance and combustible materials: 100 mm - from the front wall of the boiler, 50 mm - in other directions.

For an accessible approach to functional parts When servicing, repairing or servicing the boiler, we recommend observing the following dimensions: 500 mm - from the front wall, 500 mm - from above (the minimum dimension of 200 mm must be kept so that the casing can be removed), 300 mm - from below.

There are no special requirements for floors or coverings.

The boiler is fastened to the wall with two screws or hung on brackets with two holes located on the frame of the boiler body at a distance of 280 mm from each other.

An important circumstance when placing is the height of the room.

It is necessary to pay attention to the fact that the vertical dimension from the end of the upper damper of the draft rectifier to the middle of the chimney in the wall is at least 500 mm.

Connection of boilers with a flue pipe

Mora boilers of the “turbo” version have a closed combustion chamber, they suck in air for burning fuel from the outside. During installation, there are no restrictions regarding the ventilation of the room.

The boiler can be installed using a set of connecting elements. The tubes included in the set of these fittings are made of stainless steel and can be installed on the connection panel during installation.

The device is equipped with a fan. The execution of the exhaust of combustion products and the air supply can be double (coaxial) or two-pipe (separate air supply and exhaust of combustion products).

Heating

The Mora 5118 boiler will start working when it receives a signal from the room thermostat to reduce the temperature in heated rooms.

The pump will accelerate and the gas fittings will open the flow of gas to the main burner. Heating water flows from the pump to the heat exchanger, where it is heated and then enters the heating system.

The heating water temperature is recorded by the heating water temperature sensor. Heating of heating water continues until the boiler is turned off when the desired temperature in the heated premises is reached.

Thus, the process is repeated as long as the boiler is connected to the mains. The heating water temperature is set to the maximum value.

Water heating

The process of heating domestic water is a priority over the process of heating water for the heating system.

The flow of water through the domestic water flow fuse will introduce the boiler into the process of heating domestic water when the 3-way valve changes the direction of heating water flow, and it will pass through the secondary heat exchanger, and from there back to the pump.

From the heated heating water in the secondary heat exchanger in accordance with the temperature, set by the User, domestic water is heated.

By changing the power of the burner, the electronics system maintains the temperature of the domestic water at the selected level.

After the end of the selection of warm utility water, the boiler will automatically switch to the heating process.

In the process of heating domestic water, the pressure of the gas supplied to the main burner changes so that the temperature of the domestic water corresponds to the set one, regardless of fluctuations in the flow of water under the influence of fluctuations in the inlet pressure, i.e., an increased flow of water will cause an increase in gas pressure, and vice versa.

Work safety

The following elements ensure the safe operation of the Mora gas boiler:

Electronic control and regulation unit - An electronic unit that provides and controls the operation of individual elements of the boiler (pump, thermostats, 3-way controlled valve, flow sensor, etc.).

Heating and domestic water flow sensors - will not allow ignition of the main burner in case of insufficient water flow.

Emergency thermostat - will close the gas supply to the boiler when the maximum allowable water temperature in the heat exchanger is exceeded.

Backdraft safety device - If clogging occurs chimneys(even partial), which will contribute to the entry (leakage) of combustion products into the room, the backdraft fuse will register an increase in the temperature of the surrounding space and cause the gas supply to the main burner to be closed.

The boiler can only be put back into operation after the fuse has cooled down, i.e. after approximately 10 minutes, by pressing the RESET button.

Pressure switch - If there is a clogging of the pipes for the removal of combustion products (even partial), or the combustion of fuel worsens (it will be below the established norm) due to a decrease in fan speed (voltage drop in the mains), or the fan does not work, then thanks to the pressure switch, switching on will not occur boiler so that combustion products do not accumulate in the closed combustion chamber.

The backdraft safety device or the pressure switch must always function during the operation of the boiler and nothing must affect their function (eg change of position).

If the backdraft safety device or pressure switch trips again, contact an authorized service organization to have the problem rectified and a working test carried out.

Preparation for operation

When preparing the Mora wall-mounted boiler for work, the following must be done:

Check the water pressure in the heating system,
- open the heating water (or utility water) inlets and outlets - (valves under the boiler),
- open the gas supply to the boiler.

The specialist of the service organization, when putting the boiler into operation, is obliged to:

Check pump mode - must be set to stage 3.

Start the boiler.

Carry out ignition control:

Turn on the boiler with the button on the control panel,
- after 5 seconds, the burner will ignite from a series of sparks - ignition lasts 5 seconds,
- repeat ignition 5 times.

Check the functions of the ionization electrode - blow off the flame from the ionization electrode - after 3 seconds the burner should go out.

The electronic control of the boiler will automatically switch to ignition mode (another attempt to ignite the burner will follow).

If the burner does not ignite, the display will show fault code E2 - loss of flame. To ignite, press the RESET button on the control panel.

Carry out burner control:

Check the main burner, the flame should only be near the outlets,
- check the stability of the flame along the entire length of the burner plates.

Adjust the heating and initial power.

Malfunctions during the operation of Mora boilers

Error E0 - Temporary malfunction, possibly a malfunction of the control and regulation unit - Call a service specialist.

Error E1 - Lack of water (no water in the heating system or insufficient water flow) - Deair the heating system, radiators. Try several times to turn the boiler on and off or turn on the domestic water (in combined boilers).

Error E2 - Switching off the boiler (for example, loss of flame control, turning off the back draft fuse) - In boilers with flue gas discharge into the chimney, check the patency of the combustion paths. Press the RESET button.

Error E3 - The heating water temperature sensor is open - Call a service specialist.

Error E4 - Domestic water temperature sensor is open - Call a service specialist.

Error E5 - Malfunction on the safety module (automatic ignition, exceeding the maximum water temperature) - In boilers with the exhaust of combustion products through the wall, check the patency of the pipes for exhausting combustion products or air supply.

Mora boiler function control

During the annual inspection of the boiler, it is recommended to carry out periodic checks on the performance of its functions.

Gas part - check:

Functions of high-voltage electric ignition with ionization fuse.

Ignition of the main burner.

Gas pressure at the nozzles during: heating of heating water and domestic water, as well as at initial, minimum and maximum power.

Extinction of the burner flame when the boiler is turned off by a working or room thermostat, or by manual shutdown, for example, when the domestic water flow is closed.

Tightness of connections.

Reverse thrust fuse.

Heating water heating - check:

pressure in the heating system.

Pressure in the expansion vessel (nitrogen).

3-way controlled valve function.

Pump - pressure setting, noise and tightness control.

Filter at the boiler inlet.

Heating water flow fuse - "0"-ring tightness.

Tightness of connections (water).

Visual control of primary and secondary heat exchangers, cleaning of external and internal surfaces.

Purge valve functions (on the pump).

Domestic hot water heating - check:

I have been using this company of boilers for a year now, I installed a MORA TOP VEGA 10.N012 gas boiler. At the moment, I save a lot compared to what it was without it, in the summer I paid up to 2500 per month, in winter up to 4000. With this boiler model, the savings amounted to 30% of the amount, in some months go up to 50% . There depends on the frequency of use of the boiler. It creates an excellent environment in the house. My house is up to 160 sq.m and I will say that I have more than enough. In terms of size and capacity, it is quite compact, I would even say one of the most compact water heaters on the market. The speakers turn on already at a water flow of 2.5 l / min., Which makes me very happy.

Three years ago, the gas workers issued an order to replace the gas column. They didn’t bother much with the choice of a new column, they came to the store and bought a Mora Top 13 with piezo ignition. The purchased column works to this day without any problems. I think three years without emergency operation is an excellent indicator of quality for such a unit. The column works constantly - we do not turn off the wick. Sometimes, with a big draft, it goes out, while the column was new, the wick was kindled from the first time, now from the fifth time. When there is no one at home, and the wick goes out, the automation works and the gas does not enter the room. When re-igniting, in order for the thermocouple to heat up and the wick to burn steadily, the gas button must be held for 30 seconds and not 10 as it is written in the data sheet. The listed disadvantages, I think, cannot be attributed to the shortcomings of this column, they are rather “age-related sores”. When compared with the old column of the manufacturer Neva: old column was not regulated, lit with matches and constantly broke. I am completely satisfied with the new column Mora Top 13, and about the choice this manufacturer I don't regret.

The year before last, we installed MORA-TOP SIRIUS in our apartment. The apartment is 80 square meters and is well insulated from the outside. plastic windows etc. Fuel consumption for these 2.5 years we have 4,000 cubic meters of gas for heating and hot water, so I can safely call the boiler economical and efficient.
As advised in the store, we annually call the master for preventive cleaning of soot and dust, and so far there have been no problems with the work.
Of the minuses, I would like to note that sometimes it is very noisy to turn on in winter, but the master reassured that most likely it is a gust of wind blowing into the chimney, just at the time of ignition. It was also necessary to change all pipes and radiators without fail before installing the boiler: instead of the old Soviet ones for more modern bimetallic ones.
